The Alchemy of Many Callings
For the Ones who are never just one thing - Being a multi-passionate magician without burning out - or checking out
If you’ve ever been told you’re too scattered, too much, too distracted, too many things at once...
If you’ve ever been told you need to “focus,” to “choose,” to “narrow it down”…
If your brain lights up when you’re spinning five ideas at once but shuts down the second you have to choose “one way”…
Welcome Home, Multi-passionate Magician! Come closer. Move the stack of (at least) 10 varied books you are flowing between. Grab one of the 2-3 glasses of various thirst-quenching elixirs you have at hand.
We want to speak directly to the part of you, of us, that never fit cleanly and clearly inside one box.
We’re not lost.
We’re multi-passionate.
We’re not chaotic.
We’re symphonic.
We’re not specialists. We’re systems.
And our magic doesn’t want to be reduced.

The Shame Spiral of Too Many Callings
If you're anything like us, you've probably carried guilt and shame for not finishing things. For jumping from idea to idea. For following sparks that didn’t seem to “lead anywhere.” Maybe you’ve ghosted parts of yourself just because someone else said they didn’t “make sense together.” Maybe you’ve cried into your pillow at night, feeling defeated, and wondering how much further ahead you would be if you could have just chosen one thing and stuck to it.
Multi-passionate and Feeling Fragmented
You start something.
Then you start something else.
And another. And another.
Soon, your altar is littered with unfinished promises—rituals you never closed, books you never wrote, spells you only half-believed in.
You begin to feel like a fraud.
You carry the weight of guilt, self-doubt, and the gnawing feeling that you should be more “focused,” more “serious,” more “disciplined.”
You start to lose confidence and worry that you are simply “too much.”
The heart of the problem:
No one ever taught you how to live a life that holds all of you.
Especially in magic, where you’re often expected to pick a tradition, a pantheon, a lineage, a path, and stick to it.
But you? You’re drawn to multiple systems.
You have initiations that don’t look linear.
You track subtle threads across disciplines, paradigms, and lifetimes.
Where it gets sticky:
Being multi-passionate can show up in two main ways:
Creative aliveness — that rush of being in the flow, riding the energy of inspiration, following your yes with your full body.
Avoidant patterning — when chasing new ideas becomes a way to avoid finishing things, feeling discomfort, or sitting with the fear that what you create might actually change your life.
Sometimes it’s both.
And that’s where discernment becomes a magical skill. It helps to check in often. Are you feeling the rush of aliveness? Or are you hiding in your multi-passionate life, reeling from one passion to another like a drunken sailor on shore leave?
From Linear Structure to Embodied Ecosystem
To weave your many callings into your magical life, you need to stop thinking of your practice as linear.
To be a Magical Experimenter, you, by nature, are on the edge of evolution and emergence. Well-worn and consistent paths will not get you where you long to be.
Your magic isn’t a curriculum.
You don’t need to “pick one.” You need to learn how to track the signals and forge resonance between your curiosities and devotions.
What If You Don’t Have to Choose?
What if your “too much” is your treasure map?
What if your unfinished projects aren’t failures, but oracles—each one a message from a different part of you, inviting integration?
You don’t need to “niche down.”
You need to track the throughlines.
You need a system that holds your complexity instead of slicing it apart.
You need a living altar, not a filing cabinet.
You need a practice that evolves as you evolve.
That’s what magical experimentation is….
The Living Ecosystem of You
Create an alchemical ecosystem map of your callings, roles, gifts, and obsessions—then animate it into a living, responsive system. From here, you will discover your unique brilliance and uniqueness, the magic only YOU can bring to the world - no niching or traditional labels required.
Supplies:
A large piece of paper or whiteboard
Markers or pens in 4 colors
Post-it notes or index cards (optional but helpful)
A timer or playlist you love (if music is a facet of your multi-passionate magic, please post your favorite songs or magical playlists in the comments!)
Optional: small objects, pictures, or tokens to represent different parts of you
Step 1: The Raw Inventory
Set a timer for at least 10 minutes. When Sheena guides this process live with clients, it can be a multi-day process, and inventorying can take several hours, the more multi-passionate and curious you are, the more threads! Give yourself the gift of as much time and space as you need.
Free-write or jot down everything that feels alive in you right now—magical systems you’re working with, creative urges, professional paths, roles you hold, obsessions you can’t shake, identities you're carrying or shedding.
Nothing is too small, too weird, too seemingly random, or unrelated.
Include:
Soul Callings
Skills, education, and lived experiences
Roles and identities
Current obsessions/curiosities
Write each one on a separate sticky note or give it its own line on the paper.
Step 2: Build Your Ecosystem Map
Now step back. You’re going to build the ecosystem of you.
This is not a hierarchy. It’s an ecosystem. You’re not “choosing one.” You’re looking at how they relate, interact, and feed each other.
Start arranging what you’ve written into a circular or webbed diagram where:
The center is YOU (present you)—mark this with a symbol, your name, or “NOW”
Surrounding it are nodes: group similar energies and energetic patterns together
Draw arrows to show relationships (→ = this feeds that, this opens that, this drains that)
You're looking for function. Not labels.
Ask:
What feeds my energy?
What drains it?
What catalyzes everything else?
What’s trying to integrate, but doesn’t have a bridge yet?
What’s asking to be composted?
Use the different colored pens to show:
🔵 Passion & life-force
🔴 Strain or tension
🟢 Synergy or magic
🟡 What’s dormant or calling to be reawakened
Step 3: Animate It
This is where it gets alive.
Stand in front of your map. One by one, point to or touch each element and say aloud:
“What role do you play in my ecosystem?”
“What do you need from me right now?”
“Are you in alignment with the Present version* of me?”
Then answer as that part of you. Give it a voice. Let it speak. You can do this standing, moving, eyes closed, eyes open, or even recorded like a channeling session.
*Note: We’ll be chatting about the different versions of us on our LIVE podcast episode tomorrow, June 10th, at 5:00 pm PST. Knowing which version of ourselves we are acting from is KEY to being a successful multi-passionate magician!
Step 4: Tune the System
Now shift into alchemist/scientist mode. Ask:
What needs to move to create better flow?
What’s missing that would bring more balance?
Where are there loops or bottlenecks?
Is this system sustainable as-is?
Shift elements around. Remove ones that no longer belong. Draw new bridges.
You're not trying to simplify. You’re trying to refine the circuit.
This is how you become multi-passionate and operational, not just inspired.
Step 5: Name the Ecosystem of You
Give your living, ever-evolving ecosystem a name. Not a business name. A living name. Something that reminds you of the power of your multi-passionate nature.
Optional Integration Prompts:
Where in your life do you pretend to be one thing at a time?
What version of you created this ecosystem? What would your Present self do differently?
What’s one ritual or structure you can create to tend the lab of you weekly?
This activity can become a quarterly ritual. A business planning tool. A self-integration map.
Your Curiosity Never Ends
You are not meant to finish everything.
You are meant to engage.
To initiate.
To bring forth the experiments that are yours—and to release the ones that aren’t.
You are not here to be consistent.
You are here to be congruent.
There’s a difference.
You’re not too much.
You’re not scattered.
You just need a way to hold your brilliance without overwhelming your system.
This is what we do in:
The Magical Experiments Alchemy Lab
Where in your life and magic are you courting intensity? Flirting with transformation? Inching close to the heat that could either ignite your passion or incinerate what no longer serves?
We gather as a small, wild crew of experimenters, bringing the real work—the tangled spells, the in-process rituals, the things we’re not sure “count.”
We troubleshoot. We track patterns. We give each other mirrors and momentum.
If you’re holding too many callings and want a place to integrate and move with them in real time—this is it.
Come as your most magical, multi-passionate, multi-dimensional self.
We’ll meet you there,
In magically perfect Space/Time,
Sheena and Taylor
